NIACINAMIDE

Product description

Niacinamide is the physiological form of Niacin (Vitamin B3). Niacinamide is an important ingredient in the skin self defence system against UV-radiation damage and against water loss.

Niacinamide protects collagen and stimulates new collagen synthesis. Niacinamide also gives a reduction of skin pigmentation and reduces redness by reducing inflammation.

Ideal ingredient to add to day creams, sun screen and after sun formulations at 0.3 to 5 %.

Contains less than 100 ppm residual nicotinic acid.

Storage

Store under dry conditions in tightly closed dry containers at room temperature (1°C to 30°C). Shelf life of at least 5 years under appropriate conditions of storage.
