AakoSun TiO2 is better known  as Titanium Dioxide. Ultrafine TiO2 is extremely efficient at protecting all aspects of UV light that can affect skin. It absorbs, scatters and reflects both UV-A and UV-B radiation. Unlike other compounds used in sunscreens, which may absorb only a part of the UV radiation. Combined with other organic and inorganic UV filters it will boost the Sun Protection Factor (SPF) and UV-A Protection Factor (UVAPF) efficacy of the total formulation. Titanium Dioxide is being used in a wide range of cosmetic products to provide an very high SPF.

This version of Titanium Dioxide is coated with Silica and Dimethicone.

Packaging & storage

AakoSun TiO2 SLD is available in the following packaging type:

• Carbon fibre box of 10 kg.

Must been stored in closed container in dry, cool conditions. Has a minimum shelf life of 4 years under appropriate conditions of storage.
