Product description

AakoSun BEMT is better known as Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine. It is an organic, oil-soluble sun filter. Absorbs both UV-A and UV-B rays at wavelengths from 280 to 400nm, with peak protections at about 310 and 345nm. Only small concentrations are required to achieve a high Sun Protection Factor (SPF) and UV-A Protection Factor (UVAPF). Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine is not significantly absorbed into the skin, barely leads to skin irritation and does not appear to have hormonal effects.

Approved for the use in sun care preparations in many countries worldwide.

Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine is also known under the name Bemotrizinol.

Must been stored in a closed container under dry, cool conditions. Has a minimum shelf life of 2 years under appropriate conditions of storage.
