AKOTAN

Product description

Akotan is a broad-spectrum, non-systemic contact fungicide that acts immediately to penetrate fungal spores. It acts primarily as a protectant that offers a different mode of action, which is ideal for fungicide resistance management. The multi-site contact activity attacks fungal protein-containing thiols (-SH groups), interferes with several chemical processes, interrupts metabolism and cell division, and ultimately prevents spores from germinating.
