Product description

Calgon N Neu, a slightly alkaline sodium polyphosphate of medium-chain length, is a high-performance dispersant for industrial applications. It offers exceptional water hardness reduction, particle stabilization and binding strength for calcium and heavy metals making it ideal for emulsion paints, plasters and adhesives. Calgon N Neu ensures consistent efficiency and performance, making it a reliable solution for industrial applications.

Sodium polyphosphate is also available in the following applications:

Coating Specialties:

Calgon N Neu is also known as sodium polyphosphate.

Benefits

  • High dispersing efficiency: quickly achieves optimal particle size in pigment slurries, enhancing stability and uniformity for high-quality application in formulations
  • Sedimentation control: slows down sedimentation, maintaining a uniform mixture.
  • Water hardness reduction: effectively binds calcium and heavy metal ions, reducing water hardness.
  • Pigment and filler deflocculation: ensures better dispersion of pigments and fillers, allowing high solid content with low viscosity.
  • Improved storage stability: enhances storage stability, particularly when used with polyacrylates.
  • Enhanced solubility: Since it is agglomerated, Calgon N Neu proves to be easily soluble.
  • Lowered dusting: the larger particle size enhances manageability, while minimizing dust formation and airborne particles.
