Product description

Calgon 322 Neu, a slightly acidic sodium polyphosphate with long chain length, is a high-performance dispersing agent for emulsion paints, plasters, and adhesives. It has excellent dispersing abilities, reduces sedimentation, improves storage stability and ensures low viscosity in high-solid aqueous suspensions. These properties make Calgon 322 Neu an ideal choice for achieving uniform and stable formulations in waterborne paints and coatings.

Sodium polyphosphate is also available in the following applications:

Coating Specialties:

Calgon 322 Neu is also known as sodium polyphosphate.

Benefits

  • High dispersing efficiency: quickly achieves optimal particle size, enhancing stability and uniformity for high-quality application in formulations
  • Sedimentation control: slows down sedimentation, maintaining a uniform mixture.
  • Water hardness reduction: effectively binds calcium and heavy metal ions, reducing water hardness.
  • Pigment and filler deflocculation: ensures better dispersion of pigments and fillers, allowing high solid content with low viscosity.
  • Improved storage stability: enhances storage stability, particularly when used with polyacrylates.
  • Enhanced solubility: Since it is agglomerated, Calgon 322 Neu proves to be easily soluble.
  • Lowered dusting: the larger particle size enhances manageability, while minimizing dust formation and airborne particles.
