Polymeric dispersing additive in water
TiloSperse 6460 is part of our range of polymeric dispersants designed for improving colour development and stability of high standard water-based coatings and inks. It can also be used for the production of pigment concentrates for general industrial aqueous coating systems.
TiloSperse 6460 is a universal dispersant with a good performance for all pigments. For high-end applications for which even more performance is required TiloSperse 6560 is advised. All the dispersants in this series are compatible with a wide range of binders including acrylic, epoxy, polyurethane and alkyd binders.
TiloSperse 6464 features the following advantages:
- Increase pigment loading
- Excellent flow properties
- High gloss
- Excellent colouristic properties
- No Flooding
- High stability in resin free pastes
- Water-based coatings
- Water-based (jet) inks
- Water-based Pigment pastes
Inorganic pigment: 20-30%
Titanium dioxide: 10-12%
Organic pigment: 30-75%
Carbon black: 130-150%
TiloSperse 6460 should be dissolved in the mill-base before addition of the pigments
At temperatures below 0°C, turbidity and separation may occur. This does not influence product efficiency. For good processibility use at room temperature and mix well before use.
Shelf life in original unopened container: 2 years after production date.
