Polymeric dispersing additive
TiloSperse 5042 is part of our range of polymeric dispersants designed for improving performance of plastic masterbatches and pigment pastes.
TiloSperse 5042 is designed for stabilising inorganic pigments, fillers and lake pigments in low polarity systems. It is especially effective for dispersing titanium dioxides. TiloSperse 5042 can also be used for stabilising lake and inorganic pigments in solvent-based pastes. It is compatible with EVA, PE, PP, PVC and plasticisers and with aliphatic and aromatic solvents for pigment pastes. It is more acidic than TiloSperse 5027 providing better dispersion power.
TiloSperse 5042 features the following advantages:
- Decrease viscosity
- Increase pigment/filler loading
- Reduce milling time
- Increase hiding power
- Increase colour strength
- Increase brightness and gloss
- Plastics and Plasticisers
- Pigment pastes
Inorganic and lake pigments: 2-10%
The product should be added during pre-blending.
At temperatures below 10°C, turbidity and separation may occur. This does not influence product efficiency. For good processibility warm up to liquefy the product and mix well before use.
Shelf life in original unopened container: 5 years after production date.
