AAKO Community Event 2024

We are a social club that likes to get involved in society. That is why we organized an AAKO Community Event on 4 April. The event took place at ‘Philadelphia’ in Leusden. People who cannot live independently live here, such as people with multiple or mild disabilities and people with mental disabilities.

Previously, the inhabitants did not have a space to meet each other. Creating such a space is what we and many more volunteers from Leusden and the surrounding area have been working on. We refurbished and decorated a room at Philadelphia, so it is now a nice and bright place to be together.

Besides the fact that we found it incredibly fun to take on this job as colleagues, we also find it a rewarding job. We therefore wish everyone from Philadelphia many happy moments together at this beautiful meeting place.
