BC 2471 is a mixture of a high molecular weight silicone elastomer in cyclopentasiloxane.
Product Features:
1. Gives a light, silky, non-greasy skin feel.
2. Enhances Gloss.
3. Imparts viscosity to W/O emulsions.
4. May absorb Sebum.
5. Can be used in cold processed formulations.
BC 2471 can be included in many products to enhance the skin feel, spreadability, absorption and gloss of the finished product. Although it is not possible to list all the potential applications. Some of the areas of use would be formulations like:
