Nipaguard® POB is a broad spectrum liquid preservative comprising a powerful fungicide in an antibacterial liquid carrier designed for preservation of a wide range of cosmetics and toiletries.

Nipaguard® POB is effective against bacteria, molds and yeasts.The recommended use level of Nipaguard® POB to preserve most product types is normally in the range of 0.3 - 1.0 % based on the total weight of the finished product.

pH stability
Nipaguard® POB remains fully stable over a wide pH range from 4 - 10.

Temperature stability
Nipaguard® POB can be added at any stage to the process, but it is preferably added during the cooling stage of hot processes. The recommended maximum handling temperature is 80 °C.
