Properties:
PolyViscolTMVA products with different of ratios of Vinylpyrrolidone to Vinyl acetate are available in powder and liquid form,including an aqueous solution,which forms a removable film useful in hair gels,and ethanol solution,which is extremely useful in anhydrous hair spray formulations.PolyViscolTMVA also can be supplied in an isopropanol solution. PolyViscolTMVA forms hard,glossy,water-removable films.It's viscosity,softening point,and water sensitivity vary with the VP/VA ratio.
This series products has good compatibility with many modifiers and plasticizers that permit further variations of hydroscopicity and film flexibility.Soluble in most common organic solvents and with good compatibility with aerosol spray propellants,PolyViscolTMVA are an excellent choice as a film forming and hair-fixing agents.Their hydroscopicity decreases in proportion to the level of vinylacetate,which give the PolyViscolTMVA series flexibility that is very useful in hair sprays,hair gels and many other applications in cosmetics.The adhesion of PolyViscolTMVA film to hair increases in proportion to the amount of Vinylpyrrolidone without adversely affectiong its excellent combing & washing out perperties.

Polymers are non-ionic and thus do not need to be neutralized.
Soluble in ethanol,isopropanol,n-propanol,glycerine and other cosmetic raw materals.
In the usual combination,forms clear solution in water and are very compatible with carbomers,
with stabilizers,the products are stable in ether or aliphatic hydrocarbons.
