Dumacil 402-FG is micro-fine silica treated with an organic silicone compound. The resultant hydrophobic silica is extremely water repellent and easily dispersed in organic systems.

Dumacil 402-FG is a key ingredient in many defoamer formulations. It also finds application in adhesives and rubber, fire extinguishers, etc.
