UTANIT AF has a very high sequestering capacity. Hence it is capable not only of preventing faulty dyeings caused by heavy metal ions, but also of removing already existing stains and shaving specks.
The acid adjustment of UTANIT AF and the resulting bleaching effect gives the leather a uniform, light and natural colour.
UTANIT AF can be combined with oxalix acid, as well as with all synthetic tanning agent.
Undesired free acid originating from tanning or from oxalic-acid bleaching is rendered harmless by the buffering system contained in UTANIT AF.
